Made by Edinburgh is the culmination of Holyrood Distillery's extensive exploration of heritage beer yeasts and specialty malts.

Brewers Series No.4 is a new make is inspired by Edinburgh's rich brewing history. In creating this unique new make, they combined an Edinburgh heritage ale yeast with a mash bill recipe inspired by an 80 Shilling Ale recipe; a combination of distilling malt and two specialty malts.

Meet the maker

Opened in 2019, Holyrood Distillery is the first whisky distillery to operate in the centre of Edinburgh for almost 100 years. It is the brainchild of Canadians Rob and Kelly Carpenter along with whisky industry veteran David Robertson. The distillery has been built in an old train shed at the foot of Arthur's Seat and also includes a visitor experience. While their own whisky is maturing the distillery is focussed on producing a range of gins as well as releasing blended malts to preview the styles they are looking to create.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
