William Kerr's Borders Gin (70 cl)
William Kerr's Borders Gin is a Scottish gin which is distilled from barley grown within 20 miles of the distillery in the Scottish Borders.
The gin features botanicals including juniper, citrus peel, angelica root, coriander seeds, liquorice root, cassia bark and wetland myrtles which are steamed in the Carterhead Still to capture more of the aromas and complex flavours. This process combined with the barley base gives a gin with a distinctive depth and character.
Borders Gin takes it names from William Kerr who was born in Hawick in 1779 and developed a passion for plants. In 1804 he travelled to Asia where he gained a reputation as a plant hunter, sending 238 plant specimens back to Kew Gardens from his adventures.

The gin has outstanding depth and taste. On the nose it's floral with some citrus and spice. To taste, you'll get some more citrus and spice combined with some subtle sweetness and liquorice.
The perfect serve
We recommend enjoying as a classic G&T with ice, a quality tonic and a slice of lemon or orange.
