The Teasmith Growers Edition Broich Single Estate Gin (50 cl)
Location: Udny, Aberdeenshire
Inspired by Aberdeenshire, The Teasmith created the first Scottish gin to use tea as the primary botanical and have now released the first gin in their new Growers Edition range - the world's first Scottish gin distilled with Scottish grown tea leaves.
This special edition of The Teasmith is distilled with 12 of the finest botanicals including rare Scottish tea leaves grown on the banks of the River Earn in Crieff.
Juniper, coriander seeds and orange peel form the backbone to our profile but are combined with Broich black tea, lemongrass, fresh apples, local honey, almonds and cinnamon. The result is a rich and complex gin that boasts both a beautiful citrusy freshness and honey-sweet finish to this rare and unique Scottish gin.
With a tea crop so small, only 1000 bottles of the Broich Single Estate Gin will be produced.

Teasmith Gin is bright and crisp on the nose with a mix of juniper and citrus. On the palate juniper and citrus are at the fore with the sublte addition of spice. As these fade, a minty sweetness develops. These notes have been fused with the rare Scottish tea which imparts light aromas of honey and apple when distilled.
