The Gael Signature Scottish Gin (70 cl)
ABV: 40%
Location: Dunkeld
The Gael is a Scottish gin which was inspired by Dougie MacLean's 1988 fiddle tune of the same name. Originally commissioned for the Loch Ness Visitor Centre, the tune went on to feature in the soundtrack for The Last of the Mohicans and is now played by pipe bands and fiddlers all over the world.
Five times distilled for a quality base spirit, The Gael uses a unique combination of malted barley with 10 carefully selected botanicals including Scottish Heather and lemon peel for a smooth, light and slightly spicy gin with a warm finish.
The bottle design features the music script on the back label so you can enjoy the music while sipping the gin!

Tasting Notes
The Gael is a smooth and creamy gin with a light citrus nose followed by notes of juniper and cardamom with a warming finish.
The perfect serve
Perfect for sipping neat over ice. Alternatively, if pouring a classic G&T we recommend over ice with a quality light or Mediterranean Tonic and finished with a slice of orange.
Meet the maker
The team behind The Gael used a combination of their passion for music with their experience in the drinks to launch their Signature Scottish Gin. The inspiration was 'The Gael' - a Scottish fiddle tune which was originally written by Dougie MacLean (one of the team's dad but) which featured in the soundtrack for the movie The Last of the Mohicans. The aim was to create a truly Scottish gin which they have done through the inspiration, the botanical selected and the branding on the bottle.
