Pickering's Original 1947 Gin (70 cl)
Handcrafted at Summerhall Distillery, Pickering's 1947 Original Gin is made exactly to the recipe that was written on a scrap of paper dated 17 July 1947 in Mount Mary, Bombay.
The recipe includes 9 botanicals including juniper, fennel, anise, lemon and cinnamon.
The result is an intense and spicy gin - it’s a decadent trip back to the last days of the Raj.
The 1947 Original is a spicy, sweet and intense gin with cardamom, coriander, clove and cinnamon leading to a crisp and refreshing finish
The perfect serve
Serve with ice, a premium tonic and a wedge of orange. Alternatively, serve with ginger ale & a squeeze of lemon or even mix with bitter lemon
