Mackintosh Pineapple & Grapefruit Old Tom Gin (70 cl)
Created, distilled and bottled in Angus in batches of less than 300 bottles, Mackintosh Old Tom Gin is a sweeter gin which has been distilled with fresh pineapple and grapefruit.
In total, it's distilled using a bouquet of ten botanicals which are sourced from around the world including juniper, Mediterranean citrus fruits and locally foraged elderflower. The grain spirit has been cut using the pures Angus water.
Each bottle is signed by the distiller and has been numbered with the batch and bottle number.
The Mackintosh logo is the ‘Lover’s’ Knot, which is carved into a 9th century Pictish stone. The stone was found along with others in and around Meigle, not far from the Mackintosh family home. The knot is made up of an unbroken line over four corners that represent the endless round of seasons and is enclosed in a circle that represents infinity, the sun and the power of the female or Mother Earth.

On the nose, the old tom gin is juniper led with hints of elderflower and sweet undertones of pineapple and grapefruit. On the palate, it's smooth with a sweet citrus taste before a citrus burst to finish.
The perfect serve
As a sweeter gin, we highly recommend in a number of fruity cocktails. If looking for a long drink, enjoy over ice with tonic or lemonade and finish with a wedge of citrus fruit
Meet the maker
Launched in late 2018 by James & Deborah Mackintosh, Mackintosh Gin is a family affair with James and Deborah’s three daughters all being part of the brand and development. After falling in love at a young age, James & Deborah decided to settle in rural Angus, just south of the town of Meigle, to bring up their family. Affectionately known as ‘The birthplace of Scotland’, Angus is also where the Mackintosh clan call home.
