Possibly a world first, the Oyster Gin from the Isle of Bute Gin Co. is not like anything you will have tasted before!

Handcrafted in a copper still which has been charged with oysters from Loch Fyne, a sea loch that extends 65 miles inland from the Sound of Bute, for a delicate maritime essence. The combination of the oysters blended with a mix of citrus and other botanicals has created a savoury gin that cannot be matched.

Inspired by the Isle of Bute, the gin is currently distilled by Simon in Glasgow until he can find a permanent home for himself and his beautiful copper still on his favourite island in 2020.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel.

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.

Tasting Notes

Uniquely flavoured, the oyster give a delicate maritime essence to this gin. This, blended with a mix of citrus and other botanicals, creates a savoury gin that cannot be matched.

The perfect serve

Serve over ice with a slice of cucumber and a touch of cracked black pepper for a delicious savoury G&T. If you're near the seaside you can add some sea kelp too! Alternatively, it's great for a twist on the classic dry Martini. Take 50ml of Oyster Gin, add 15ml of Vermouth, shake over ice and finish with a twist of lemon.

Meet the maker

Head distiller Simon Tardivel has worked all over the world as a multi-award-winning brewer and alcohol expert, before falling in love with the Isle of Bute while living there. Simon claims that the landscape has been the driving force behind these small batch gins.
