Deerness Distillery Vara Orkney Pink Gin (70 cl)

Released in October 2020, Vára is an Orkney Craft Pink Gin takes you back to the spring time with every sip.
It's made with botanicals including juniper, tarragon, rosemary, elderflower, lemon grass, lime, red grapefruit, rose, vanilla and cardamom. The gin is then infused with pink rose petals post distillation to give it its lovely pink hue.
The name Vára means become spring in Old Norse.
Made in a traditional alembic copper still with a reflux column to refine the process, Scuttled Gin contains Orcadian water and each bottle is filled, corked, sealed and signed by hand.

Vára is juniper led with rosemary, citrus and cardamom undertones and a stunning sweet pink rose finish.
The perfect serve
The Vára Gin is great over ice with natural tonic water and garnished with rose petals. Alternatively, try with elderflower tonic and garnish with a lime peel twist.
Meet the maker
Stuart and Adelle Brown - a husband and wife team - turned their dream into reality when they moved from Australia and opened the first new distillery on Orkney for over 130 years. The small distillery was designed and built by Stuart and Adelle with a little help from family, friends and neighbours close to their family home on the East Mainland of Orkney. The production process at Deerness Distillery is carried out entirely by hand.
Delivery Service
We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.
All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.
We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel.
Delivery Times
Please note due to COVID-19 restrictions, there may be a delay in receiving your order.
We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.
The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 working days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
