Teasmith Spirits Co. - Original Gin is the first Scottish gin to use tea as the primary botanical.

Distilled with hand-picked and hand-rolled black loose leaf Ceylon tea sourced from Sri Lanka, the botanicals are distilled twice in copper alembic stills to produce this distinct, crisp gin.

Botanicals: juniper, Ceylon tea, coriander, grains of paradise, orange peel.

Tasting Notes

Teasmith Gin is bright and crisp on the nose with a mix of juniper and citrus. On the palate juniper and citrus are at the fore with the sublte addition of spice. As these fade, a minty sweetness develops.

The perfect serve

Best enjoyed with a sprig of fresh mint, your favourite tonic and ice (1 part gin to 4 parts tonic works well). Also great with a range of mixers or as the base of a number of cocktails.

Meet the maker

Established in Udny, Aberdeenshire in 2016 by husband and wife Nick and Emma Smalley, The Teasmith creators were inspired to form a gin that captured the essence of the land and stories that surrounded them. Emma and Nick also wanted to create a unique product that could be enjoyed as a classic G&T as well as serving with different mixers or in cocktails.
