Wemyss Malts
Founded in 2005 by William Wemyss, Wemyss Malts are reknowned for blending quality single malt whiskies. However, the Wemyss family have an association with Scotch whisky that dates back to the 19th century. John Haig built his first distillery, Cameron Bridge, now the largest spirit producing distilllery in Europe, on Wemyss family land. Today, highly prized Scottish barley is grown by farmers on the Wemyss Estate and is used by many leading distillers to make their malt whisky. Wemyss Malts take a careful and focused approach to blending, using only a small selection of whisky from hand-picked casks to carefully craft distinctive and flavourful blended malt Scotch whiskies.
